‘With great faith you come, with great belief you will go’ Quote by Mr D K Gaur
- Can my treatment be paid by my medical healthcare insurance?
Many medical healthcare insurance companies give benefit for many types of treatment. You need to check whether your medical health care insurance company will cover the treatment you are having.
All GHG clinics and medical institutions are registered with all UK and International based medical healthcare insurance companies. - What should I wear for my appointment?
Depending upon the type of treatment you are going to have, it is advisable to wear clothes which are comfortable for you e.g. loose T-shirt, loose trousers or shorts underneath. If you have just arrived straight from work you are more than welcome to change in the bathroom or another treatment room into more comfortable and loser clothing. Please call reception at the appropriate clinic or medical institution for more information. - Do I need to bring anything with me?
If you have any test results e.g. blood tests, X-rays, MRI scans etc. please bring them with you. Also if you are taking any medication please bring the bottles with you. - Do I need to inform my gp of my appointment?
There is no legal requirement to inform your NHS GP or your GHG Private GP, however your NHS GP/GHG Private GP is a valued and important part of your healthcare and informing him/her shows great respect. - Do I need to take any medication before my appointment?
As a rule there is no necessity to take any particular medication in order to take advantage of your treatment unless you have been advised by your practitioner. - Will the treatment hurt?
All treatments are designed on an individual basis and your practitioner will treat you in the best possible way in order to ensure your comfort. However, pain tolerance levels vary greatly from person to person. - Can I get an off work certificate if I need one?
All GHG clinics and medical institutions issue off work certificates if the practitioner believes one is required. - Will there be any after affects after having my treatment?
There is a possibility that you could be sore after your appointment but this does depend upon the therapy you have chosen. The soreness can come on straight away or after some time (a few hours). There are many ways to reduce the soreness and ease any pain. It is always advisable to follow the advice on your aftercare sheet. - How many treatments will I need?
All treatments are totally patient centred and are geared to the patient as an individual. After your first session you may be given an indication as to how many treatments will be required. - Will I be able to drive myself home?
Most probably. If you cannot we can always call someone for you or arrange a taxi.
