Your phone call or your visit will be welcomed and answered very politely and informatively.
Before confirming your appointment, you will be taken through a check list of information that we require for your safety and ours.
Your appointment date and time will be confirmed.
Any medical healthcare insurance or solicitor advised insurance will be verified and confirmed beforehand in order to relieve you of responsibility and stress.
You will be given directions or faxed/e-mailed or posted a map if necessary.
You will also receive a reminder call/e-mail or text on the day of your appointment or the day before if you so request.
Your TreatmentYou will be greeted at the door by our friendly reception staff and shown into the waiting room where you are welcome to make yourself comfortable. A selection of newspapers and books are available for you.
You are more than welcome to inform reception if you wish to be accompanied during your appointment.
A highly qualified practitioner will greet you (and your guests) in the waiting room and show you (and your guests if you desire) to your consultation room.
You will be taken through your case history which will involve noting down your relevant details, your past and present medical history and a health screen to ensure your safety.
At all times explanations will be offered and given.
You will be diagnosed and your treatment will then be carried out.
Your AftercareAt the end of your treatment any advice on nutrition, medicine, posture and exercise will be given/written on an aftercare sheet which should be followed. If you do not understand the aftercare sheet please ask the GHG practitioner to repeat the advice.
You will be handed a package with information regarding all aspects of healthcare available at the GHG which you should read.
Your practitioner will guide or show you to the reception area to bring you into the care of the reception staff, where appropriate action can be carried out regarding rebooking, purchases etc.
Some patients prefer to take advantage of the comfort and peace of the waiting room after their treatment, please feel free and welcome to do so.
